At no. 1 is Technorati, it is still the best and most popular way to promote your blog. You can claim as many blogs as you wish from the same account. They have Authority system which they calculate based on various criteria. You can find more information on Technorati Aughtority from their website.

Doesn’t accept new Blogs. You can claim as many blog as you want. They take ages to approve a blog if it is unpaid. It offers a widget which is a nice feature and can be on this website. Also accepts paid services to make your blog listed in featured blog for the purchased categories which is useless feature. I got more views with free listed blog than the paid ones.
However if you are desperate to get your blog listed there then obviously you have to sponsor a category and get approved immediately.
3. www.blogarama.com
Just Blog submission and not other services. You can submit one blog per account.
4. www.zimbio.com
Zimbio is a new concept, it is purely gossip website with big big pics of attractive women and in the background they have mix of blog and articles.
You can create your own wikizines but wait for ages to get it come out of draft state.
You can promote you posts and it gets indexed. The only cause of concerned would be duplicate content if you know what does it mean.

So you have written a tantalizing blog and you dream it to be on the top of search results and you just though that it is going to happen automatically by grace of God?
You are wrong, publishing a blog doesn’t not necessarily always populate your blog on the Internet. You have to promote your blog in the same way as you do for any website.

Feed what is this?
Each and every blog should have a feed/rss URL, which varies from one platform to another.
For blogspot the feed url can be obtained by simply adding atom.xml at the end of URL
Example:
If your blogspot URL is http://swamiseo.blogspot.com then the feed url for this blog would be
http://swamiseo.blogspot.com/atom.xml
Once way to verify if you have got the correct feed url is to check the URL itself and you should see all the posts in that blog listed on one page. If you see error page then you have got it wrong.

Next you need to find the list of various Blog Directories, RSS Networks and General Directories which accept Blogs. Not all the general directories accept Blog so submitting to them would be futile.

Collect all the details

FEED URL

Title
Title of the Blog, keep it coherent with the blog topics, keep it short
Keywords/Meta Keywords
List for keywords separated by commas which are suitable for your blog.
Description/Meta Description
Short/Long Description of your blog normally not more than 250/300 characters. Keep it attractive and don’t spam with keywords.
Other Details:
Name/First name/Last name
Address (City, state, Country and PIN/ZIP Code)
E-mail Address
Once you are ready with above start populating blog directories/rss network with your blog.
Precautions
Some of the directories don’t accept a new blog, so if your blog is new then wait fro at least 10 days.
Some of the directories don’t accept a blog is no. of posts are less than 5-10 posts. So be on safe side add at least 10 posts on regular intervals before start submissions.

Social bookmarking is one of the quickest way to popularize your website without bothering much about SEO. Social bookmarking is very popular at present and given the trend it is going to stay for long time till we replace it with some new evolved Internet revolution. The whole world knows that Google are saint (sic) and they don’t display any gambling related advertisement in sponsored searches.
Give it a second thought.
I just caught them displaying Gambling advertisements in sponsored advertisements at 02:30 AM Saturday the 6th April 2008 while searching for keywords virgin poker.com.
See the screenshot below.
So what is the conclusion w.r.t Google and “We don’t allow any Gambling ads”? Answer is evident from the proof below. Time to wake up Google give it up and say yes we accept bribery at the dead of midnight to let someone sneak advertisements through and give the whole world excuse that none of our staff were not available to monitor it.
Just give it up!!!
Also food for thought for punters when to sneak their advertisements in Google empire when the sleep
